We were at BIM DAY Geneva 2026. An opportunity to talk about what becomes of a construction project’s documentation once it stops being a folder tree.

Sanjco SA attended BIM DAY Geneva 2026.

Why this event matters to us

The digital model is changing the way projects are designed and built. But it does not settle the question of the documents that go with it: tenders, works contracts, meeting minutes, contract amendments, guarantees.

These documents often still live in folder trees, with the same symptoms as elsewhere. Two teams working on two different revisions. A tender that cannot be found when an additional cost has to be justified. A site close-out that ties up an employee for days.

What we talked about

Our S-Files BAT and S-Files ARCHI packs start from a simple principle: the site, or the project, becomes the unit of filing. Each document is labelled with its building, its work package, its phase and its revision. It exists only once, even if it appears in several views.

On site, this means that a site manager opens the latest approved drawing from a tablet, without calling the office. At the office, it means that a site close-out is prepared as work progresses rather than after the fact.

You build, you design, and your documents are slowing you down? Write to us to arrange an assessment of your document organisation.
